Cache No. 5121 – Burns Night

The 25th January, a date celebrated throughout the civilised world – the date that the famous bard was born. Tradtionally folk gather, eat haggis, neeps and tatties, drink whisky and talk of times long ago, when a mouse was a moose, and Tam o’shanter rode over a bridge wearing just his underwear…Okay, so it wasn’t really Tam O’Shanter wearing the ‘Cutty Sark’, but Nannie Dee… who probably wasn’t as depicted in the headline image !

So, not being Scottish there was none of the piping in of the Haggis, instead we held an event in the afternoon in a Park in Yorkshire… and ate Tunnocks Wafers and drank Irn Bru to celebrate all that’s best of Scotland
