Caches No’s 1501 to 1535 – Kellingley Pit Cycle

My friend Adam (formerly Diving DJ – now changed his name to UKCacheMag – but that’s another story) have started a little competition to see who can get to the next milestone first. And I was feeling a little unimpressed when he got a 20 cache series set out on his doorstep. A sunny Sunday morning and I thought I would go for a little walk along the banks of the River Nidd just to the East of Harrogate… and find the cache series known as the Nidd Gorge Walk. I’d never been around here before but the roads nearby were full of cars as it is obviously a popular dog walking place… and cycling place, horse riding place etc… Continue reading

Caches No’s 1466 to 1471 – The Dentist and the Mad March Meet IV

I was having a little problem with an abscess under a tooth… it was getting larger and beginning to hurt. This had happened just before Christmas and it had been one of the worst pains I had ever had to endure – until I went to the Dentist and got some Antibiotics and gave them 36 hours to work… then I was alright.
This time I decided that going to the emergency dentist for more antibiotics had better be done sooner rather than later, so I took some time from work to go… Continue reading
