For once the camping weekend in Norfolk was in red hot weather, too hot for doing anything much but sitting around trying to keep cool, but we had to go off and get some food for the evenings barbecue so Angel78 and I went off to Downham Market… and so did Hublander & Beanie28, and Stucuk & TT, and while at the supermarket we made use of the 3 hours free parking in their car parks – so though we all went separately we all found the same town centre caches !

We were the first of the three groups to this cache as well – in fact after we had done this cache and wandered up the road to DNF the Hop, Hop, Hop cache we came back past this cache, met Hublander and Beanie28 and lent them our pen to sign the log with !
After this we didn’t find GC5356F hop! hop! hop! – We didn’t find the cache though whether that was because it has gone missing or whether because we couldn’t see anything in the dark shadows of the hedge with our dark glasses on (and we both wear prescription glasses so it was no use taking them off!) I don’t know

A lovely little town hall square with an old clock and a new water fountain – which we made use of as it was a roasting hot day… we were the first of the three groups to this cache too (apparently Stucuk & TT were in a cafe overlooking the square and watched both us and Hublander & Beanie28 find the cache

This time I can’t say we were first to the cache (because we were parked in Tesco’s whereas the others were parked in Morrison’s car park across the road from this church, which is where the cache is hidden) so Hublander & Beanie28 beat us to it… in fact I had problems finding it (too many places to look and dark glasses) so needed Angel78 to pull out the cache
As we crossed the car park to the next we met Stucuk & TT on their way to look for it !

A quick call in on our way back to the campsite… Though the village fete was just about to start down on the village green the area around the church was totally free from people, and we quickly found the cache
