The two German cachers who had come to our Mega to tell us about this Bonn Mega (Cache42Bears) also have a set of Adventure Lab caches a few miles outside Bonn, in the grounds of a monastery.
Fortunately Matthew has a friend Constantine for whom the Bonn Mega was a day trip, so had a car, so we could all squeeze in and go to the Monastery.

There was another nearby cache which was hidden by the local museum… as we were looking for the cache we found the spare keys for the museum! We didn’t try them to see as we hadn’t got the alarm codes, but it was quite strange to think that the museum staff thought a safe hiding place was virtually the same place as a local cacher thought was a safe hiding place
