The Ordnance Survey list has 4 Benchmarks in grid SE1747, all of which are normal Cut Marks

1 – CUT MARK – GTP FENCE JUNC W SIDE RD
FOUND IN GOOD CONDITION

The Cut mark is on the gatepost at the fence junction on the West side of the road
This took me a couple of visits to spot, mainly because I got the wrong description at first and so was looking on the wall rather than the gatepost… strangely enough I couldn’t find it. Then a day or so later when I was driving past I spotted it out of the corner of my eye but it is hard to see especially on a dull day, so I have highlighted it’s position in the second picture as it doesn’t show up well in the first

2 – CUT MARK – GTP SW SIDE TK W SIDE RD JUNC
FOUND IN GOOD CONDITION

The Cut mark is on the gatepost on the South West side of the track that has a junction with the West side of the road
There is only one gatepost left here, as with other farm gates they have been widened to allow bigger machinery into the fields, but the gatepost that is left is the right one for the mark.

3 – CUT MARK – GTP SW SIDE RD 22.6M NW WALL CORNER
FOUND IN GOOD CONDITION

The Cut mark is on the gatepost on the South West side of the road. 22.6mtrs North West of the corner of the wall
Again there’s only one original stone gatepost here, the hinge post is a replacement wooden one, but the mark is on the one that is left

4 – CUT MARK – STOCKS COTT N ANG NE FACE
FOUND IN GOOD CONDITION

The Cut mark is on the North East face of Stocks Cottage, on the North corner
To tell the truth I’m not sure that this is the original Cut mark, the building it’s on has been much altered over the years. The roof has been raised and two courses of large, non-matching stones put on top of the old ones, Windows have been taken out at some point in time and in the last couple of years a damp proof membrane installed and the wall totally cleaned up and repointed.
There’s a flake of stone coming away at the left end of the horizontal cut and the lower angled cuts are very shallow and look like they were recently made – I wonder whether there hasn’t been some retouching of an original worn cut mark
