Caches No’s 1237 to 1240 – A Sunset Walk Along the River

Saturday evening and it was nice and sunny so I decided to go for a little jaunt along the River Wharfe at Burnsall, as usual I decided to start by walking out to the furthest away cache and then grabbing the others as I returned. This evening was made more interesting as the nearer I got to Grassington the louder I could hear Boney M playing their gig at the Grassington Festival !

2nd July 2011 – Carneva 06a GC20EKR – cache #1237
In the end the first cache I went for turned out not to be the furthest away cache as it was this one, a feeder cache with co-ordinates for the final one

2nd July 2011 – Carneva 06 GC20EMH – cache #1238
The co-ordinates gleaned from the previous cache took me further along the river bank towards Grassington, and then into the trees next to the path, where I found this cache

2nd July 2011 – Not the Key GC25GP5 – cache #1239
The cache title refers to a previous multicache of which this is the last one extant, the cache was quite difficult to find being a very small cache hidden in the dark crevices under a bridge

2nd July 2011 – Harry’s Hollow GC1EKQB – cache #1240
A cache hidden at the bottom of a tree, covered by a stone… but this time with a twist, the cache was inside the tree, a hollow tree
