Some parts of the country have regular events, once a month usually, last Wednesday of the month or first Sunday of the month or whatever. Some areas of the country have multiple event organisers so have regular events twice a month or more… So people know not to have other ad-hoc events on or about those days. In Yorkshire here we have events on a totally random basis, sometimes none for ages and then sometimes two come along at once

Team ROSMAR (along with their Geocaching daughter kiwi.bug) came over from New Zealand to see their new Grandson for the first time.
The trip also included a 3 week long tour of the UK in a campervan caching as they went and holding local events in the evenings… Uggy has a daughter lives out in the Antipodes and the daughter knows Team Rosmar so they arranged to have an event in her local village on their trip… And so on a Wednesday night I drove up to near Thirsk to attend their event
