Cache No. 3573 – GC5JPB8 Who let the Scothogs out?

19th January 2015 – Who let the Scothogs out? GC5JPB8 – cache #3573
As with 2014 my first cache of the year was an event cache in a nice warm, dry, mud free pub… And another trip to York, my third visit in 6 weeks.
The only way I am ever going to get January filled is to cache for long enough to go to events in pubs on every date in January !

I didn’t quite make the 8:00pm start – because the street parking in York only becomes free at 8:00pm (at least on Marygate where I normally park)
The event was held to coincide with a trip to York by Mrs Scothog, a cacher from Edinburgh who has the record for finding Earthcaches in the Uk with over 250 of them. It was nice to meet a few different cachers than more local events – though we might need a bigger room next time !

After the event I escorted Mrs Scothog back to her hotel via Mad Alice Lane and the Old NER building for another couple of caches, though Alice Has A Screw Loose I found 6 weeks ago (cache #3569) and
After this we didn’t find GC5DQ7F – Old Railway HQ, we found the spot where it should have been, but no cache was there.
