August 1st 2009 – York Mystery Walk GC1A1PP – Cache #66

I felt a bit of a cheat about this one, as it’s actually a puzzle cache designed to send you around a 3.5km walk through the historical city of York… trouble is I am so familiar with York that I could follow the walk in my head without having to do it on the ground and so the 3.5km walk was only a stroll to the final location for me.

From this cache I collected the Travel Bugs – TB2JV19 – Double One Fun Racer Travel Bug, and – TB2AKB6 – SPOOKY Travel Bug, and dropped off the Jolly Holly Santa TB

August 1st 2009 – York Micro #7 – Bar Convent GC1FTPB – Cache #67
It was a horrible wet day in York and the place was full of Muggles, so I only did one more cache, this one I was seen doing by loads of drivers queueing for the traffic lights so it was a case of tie my shoe lace and retreive the cache, sit on a convenient perch to sign the log then tie the other shoe lace to cover replacing the cache… as the cars moved on they only saw part of this proceedure each
