Caches No 48, 49 & 50 – Googling for the Puzzle Cache
July 10th 2009 – Jake’s Jaunt GC1R2KD – Cache #48
My first puzzle cache.
It involved a bit of work to find the solution… the ‘Jake’ in ‘Jakes Jaunt’ refers to 70’s  folk singer Jake Thackray, and required searching through the lyrics of his songs to find the relevant one, then more Googling to find more information on the subject of the lyric to find the answer to the puzzle… how you would do this without Google I don’t know

July 10th 2009 – old tree cache GC1GFNZ – Cache #49
So you are in a Forestry Commission plantation looking for the cache named the old tree… any idea how many trees are to be found within a 20ft radius ? fortunately only one ‘old tree’

July 10th 2009 – Where Five Lanes Meet GC1R1HY – Cache #50
So you are in a Forestry Commission plantation and the hint says the cache is hidden under a log… any idea how many logs are to be found within a 20ft radius in a managed wood ? But I found it eventually
From this cache I collected the Travel Bug – TV210YY – Harold The Rescue Chopper
